Moin DKKDG, Deine Idee ist nicht schlecht kann allerdings nicht die Lösung sein. Es hat ja auch ohne HTTPS scanning einwandfrei funktioniert. Danke aber trotzdem.

Moin Alexnder Busch, ja Du hast Recht, die Fragen habe ich mir auch gestellt. Keine Konfigurationsänderungen, Richtlinien auch OK. Firewall schon neu gestartet und auch den Oberprofi drüber schauen lassen, sogar extra zwei Unterschiedliche. Keiner kann es verstehen oder eine Lösung anbieten. Vielen Dank und beste Grüße zurück.

Hallo Leute, ich habe das Problem, dass meine Clients im WLAN hinter der RED15 keine IP erhalten. Die RED-Verbindung zur UTM wird aufgebaut, der AP15c hinter der RED bekommt auch eine entsprechende IP aus dem Ethernet-VLAN zugewiesen und strahlt entsprechend die WLANs aus. Die Clients können eine Verbindung mit dem WLAN herstellen erhalten dann aber keine IP-Adresse von dem entsprechenden WLAN Die RED15 ist mit einem Interface als Typ Ethernet-VLAN (ID 20) und mit einem entsprechenden DHCP angelegt. Unter Wireless Protection habe ich die gewünschten WLANs angelegt und dem Accesspoint zugeordnet. Die entsprechenden Schnittstellen und DHCPs sind ebenfalls angelegt. Wo mache ich den Konfigurationsfehler oder kann sich das einer von euch erklären ?

Forum Post: Sophos endpoint for Mac causes major slowdown
Hi, we are a new Sophos customer and are currently doing our initial deployment to both Macs and Windows PCs. The issue we're facing is that our Mac users are reporting a massive slowdown of their computers, regardless of what application is being used. I have noticed it myself, and did a simple test to verify. With Sophos installed, Microsoft Word 16.21 took 20 seconds to open. With Sophos uninstalled (and the computer rebooted between), Word took 7 seconds to open. The issue is not just with opening programs, navigation within the program as well as internet browsing is also effected. The computers often give the spinning pinwheel of death as well. Obviously, I would expect some amount of impact with a new AV solution, especially one that is keeping track of as much as Sophos does. However, I do not experience the same slowdowns on Windows computers... this seems to ONLY be on Macs. What can we do to improve this situation? I haven't messed with any of the policies yet, as there are a large number of settings to just go changing all of them and see what works. All the Macs and PCs are using the default Sophos policy anyway, so everything should be applied equally. Edit - the Macs are 13" MBAir, with SSDs and 8gb of memory. Various OS versions, but most are on High Sierra. The one I tested on is Mojave. Thanks, Noah

I'm designing a network panel for a client and Sophos was suggested as an alternative to the Cisco product I was specifying. I'm not a customer, but I choose the products that will eventually be purchased by the client. Should I present a design with a white box with Sophos in it or a professional looking design with the actual product that will be used? Please make Visio stencils publicly available and I will specify your product. If not, I'll keep using Cisco. No engineer ever got fired for specifying the best known product.

Who is "we" ? Not seeing anything in your user related to being affiliated in any way with Sophos. Why are you trying to pass yourself off as Sophos staff? I believe there is a way to do this without adding the SSL VPN pools to the tunnel but I would highly recommend you do not pursue this avenue. Take a look at this KB first : https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/132758 In addition to what is there, you will need to modify one of the SSL VPN pools so it does not have an overlapping network effect on your routing since you have people connecting to both firewalls using this function.

There is no published end-of-life statement from Sophos. They continue to patch bugs and add minor enhancements, but don't expect any big redesigns to UTM. They are expecting new clients to buy XG instead of UTM, and they expect their sales channels to offer only XG to new accounts. There is no need to rush a migration decision. We just renewed for several years because our UTM solution is working pretty well, migration to something else would be painful, and the preferred alternative is unclear. When we do prepare to migrate, we will assess XG as well as options from other vendors, based on product state at that point in time.
