Hello Mike, Yes this will be fine, a few key points though. 1. On the current server stop the SGN IIS site to stop any client communications to the database (when you're ready to move) 2. Backup the Database using MS SQL Management Studio 3. Open the Management Console > Tools > Options > Certificates 4. Export the Company certificate > Specify a password 5. Export the MSO certificate > Specify a password 6. Make sure these certificates are used on the new server 7. If you're using SSL make sure the certificates on the server match with the clients (I'd recommend pushing out via GPO). As you're going from 6.0 to 7.0 you'll need to make sure you follow the upgrade process, Section 4 in the guide below: www.sophos.com/.../sgn_7_bpg_eng_upgrade_best_practice.pdf It's a very simple upgrade process but you'll need to make sure you perform the steps carefully to avoid any issues. Hope that helps Mike, let us know if you have any questions on that.
