Have just installed the free version of Sophos for Mac on my home machine. The install is stuck on "Contacting Sophos." Clearly the install has not completed. Among others for instance, the tab for AutoUpdate in Sophos Prefs shows no User Name or Password. We have a good Internet connection, as illustrated by our connecting here. The machine currently runs Mac OS 10.9.5. Thanks for a solution to this problem. The machine may have malware, and we cannot proceed further until Sophos is active. -Annie Downes
