Hi christian As far as i know logging is switched off so no dont think iv got one anywhere. im not even sure how to turn it on if it is off or where to find the log files. hmm im sounding a bit thick now [:|] ok the full error says The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. this may indicate a problem with this package. the error code is 2711 could this be down to the fact that im running a non standard install of sophos. mines on the D:\ drive of the server. being month end and the face that sophos shares our accounts server i cant restart it till middle of next week at least. kurt.
