HI, Assuming that when you open the interface of Sophos on the computer it says on-access is active: I suspect there is a problem with WMI on the computer. I would suggest following the resolution steps in this article support.software.dell.com/.../88861 first Google result for "rebuild wmi". Once complete, restart the computer. Regards, Jak
