The appliance is "dumb" just route your exchange send connector to the outbound appliance and ensure the FQDN:port number you specify is routable from the outside world. You can check the address from configuration / accounts / user preferences / configure end user services. then you can confirm the portal address under configuration / policy / encryption / spx encryption tab (click on the portal configuration button) The FQDN:port should be listed in the URL, make sure that it routable externally so users can pick up their encrypted mail
