Hi Jak, Thanks for your reply and trying to help me out. When I was using Windows 7, as a starting point (or when the firewall was restored to default settings), everything was blocked by default. As applications such as a browser, were opened, I would get a pop up message from the firewall asking if I wanted to allow. Over a period of time, the firewall rules were built up based on what I opened on my machine and how I responded to these pop ups. Now I have moved to Windows 10, these pop ups do not occur and I'm unsure now as to how to create the firewall rules to allow my machine to function.
