I have been using Sophos Home Edition (v.8.0.16) for some time and value it. Recently, when Apple optimized the start-up speed of my iMac (running v. 10.11.5), all the Login items were deleted. The Sophos icon on the menu bar disappeared. I got an Apple message as shown below when trying to open Sophos. I tried to uninstall to do a fresh install and got the "Sophos Remove” message that the app was not installed! Numerous attempts produced the same result. But it appears to open and shut down right away. Apple reviewed this case carefully and said they could not help. I seem boxed in! Can you help?
