I have both an XG and an SFM on different networks. The daily report for the XG shows one download of anti-virus update (dated 16th April) whereas the SFM shows two download of anti-virus updates. (Avira and Sophos dated 16th April). Also the SFM downloads between 400-500mb of data a day in comparison to the equivlent UTM (SUM) of about 3.5mb. Maybe it is because the SFM has software distribution enabled? Something I don't understandwhich has a bit to do with downloads is the country blocking. I have a policy for country blocking, but according to the XG the policy is not used, so what is the use of creating a plocy if the XG OS is going to over rule your configuration andnot give you a warning or even report this in the daily reports?
